Limited
Operating out of Southampton & Rotherham, with a fleet of clean, modern
general haulage vehicles which include curtainside, flats and
skeletal trailers, providing a payload from a few kilos up to
the maximum permitted weight. Offering a constant groupage, full
load and container service to most parts of the UK.
Although based at Southampton & Rotherham, Harris Transport are by no means
operationally fixed to that area. Collection and delivery is
available anywhere in the UK. There is already a regular service
operating to most areas with a daily service to and from London,
Midlands, Yorkshire, Lancashire, South Wales, Isle of Wight and
The Channel Islands.
All Harris Transport vehicles are fitted with in cab telephones
thus giving us full communication and control over our vehicles,
enabling us to pass instructions to drivers and be able to
investigate problems, giving the customer the chance to
communicate through our traffic office directly with the vehicle
delivering the goods.
